Here I am in an RV park in Brandon Manitoba. I have my best girl with me, a glass of Baileys and milk in hand, the air conditioning is on, and the stereo is blasting out Steppenwolf's Born to Be Wild. I just ate a delicious McDonald's chicken sandwich, and followed it up with a skinny cow ice cream from the stash I brought along. We have a great wireless connection, if no phone (fuck you telus!). Earlier today I rode my bike through a nice flat section of North Dakota and followed it up with a refreshing little run. Afterwards, while I waited for Roo to put in her miles, I had a shower and changed into dry clothes right beside the highway, but in the privacy of my own home on wheels,

The only wee, wee, little disappointment that I have today is that no one (not even you Mike!) commented on my 2 subtle little LOTR comments in yesterday post. I thought they were very clever but maybe they were too subtle? Or maybe too obvious to be worth mentioning??
To get over the disappointment I'm now gonna mix another drink, and then soak my feet.

I got both Lord of the Rings references (including Gaffer!), but like you guessed, they were obvious enough that I didn't see the need to point them out!

hell, I was just about to say I didn't even get your LOTR reference, but by the time I figured that out, (before I read Mike's post, lol) I realized that I still didn't get them...guess it was something that fell out cause the file server's full, or the alzheimers is closer than I hoped!!
