"Suddenly Exhausted"

It can't be the bike ride of 18 kms even though I did ride as hard as I could....almost 35 kms/hr.
I suspect it is a combination of travel and being a parent.  And the only difference between those two I suppose is that when I travel I go back and forth, but in parenting I go around in circles.  Lord help me Jesus!  I will never give up, never surrender!

So sorry for another lame post but it just doesn't seem important enough tonite.  Tomorrow will be an exciting day however as I'm gonna reveal my latest saddle in all it's glory.  I don't have it on the bike yet!

(weights, 18 km bike)

  1. Always a parent no matter what. I was told many years ago that we only borrow our children. This is to raise them the best possible way that we can. Nurture them, encourage to be the best they can be. Love them. For a while they, while their minds develope, they listen. Comes that day when their own self takes over. They have a mind of their own. We hope they maintain what they have been taught, but in the end, their decision making is now theirs, what ever the ongoing support and advice that is given. We will not always agree with what our kids do or say. Loving them, unconditionally, is what counts. Mainting hope, one day, in their time, they will make amends and come full circle in the right direction. with themself.
